I'm at work and bored. Okay, I'm at work and not wanting to work, so I found this lovely article on MSN. In honor of the upcoming holiday, I thought I'd copy over the poll so everyone has the chance to see if they really could pass the citizenship test.
Note: This is just a sampling.
Note Again (sorry): Candidates for citizenship do not get multiple choice in the naturalization interview.
Happy Independence Day!

bah! I missed 5! Most of the were the history ones, I suck at American history...
1I missed 6. I missed a couple because I answered without reading the questions completely.
2Yay! I got 100
I should - I am a Social Studies Education/Pre Law major
3I only got three wrong. Im surprised.
4I got 100
I should - I am a smarta$$.
5Hey I got a 95% but my score's showing up as a 35%
That's not cool
6We'll vouch for you Gen.
7Aww thanks, now it's showing up as a 95%. I definitely know what month we vote for the president.
8"I got 100
I should - I am a smarta$$."
Understatement of the year!
91 wrong...
1090% I knew the Senate one too, but asked someone else for their thought, and then got it wrong.
1114/20...I thought I made a better citizen of the U.S. than that
Ah, well...I have all day to fix that since they took away our Friday Holiday 2 weeks ago *sniff*
But I'm not bitter
1218/20 ... So what, you guys, it took you like ELEVEN years to write the declaration of independence after you actually earned it ? Wow you're slow. You should have been Swiss (they're particularly slow), not American...
13Sorry, the Constitution, not the Declaration of Independence.
14Please, you've seen how we fight over everything...
15i missed 6. but only because i always pick the wrong answer even though i guessed the right one initially.
16I got them all right, but my score's not showing up! Boo.
Anyway, I am a history and government buff (at least with U.S. history and government), so I'd hope I'd get them all right!
17LOL, Tulipe and Steph. Now I have an excuse when my family calls me a slowpoke!
1816/20 ..... not bad for somebody out of high school for 23 years. And I wasn't very good in history class, but I did take American Government!
19in 1960 EVERY grammar school graduate was expected to answer those questions, but then again they weren't politically correct in representing historical figures, what decisions were made that brought us to our current place in history . Back then the emphases was on who was responsible at the time in history, not making sure there was a balance of gender, race, ethnicity, religion, etc. in the history books. That emphases you were expected to learn from your individual culture. But then again the goal of immigrants was integration, becoming proud Americans. They left their homes because this was the land of opportunity.
2016/20 yea me, blondeyy my friend, i'm really shocked - school was 42 yrs. ago for me. hey watch me strut.
