In 3.5 billion years.
Glad I won't be here.
Sorry, just wanted to post something a little light hearted after all the sad, gory articles I posted today.

Star, colliding planets to lighten the mood?
1"Star, colliding planets to lighten the mood?"
No kidding!
2In 3.5 billion years, steph! We'll all be dust by then. I mean great-great-great-great (and so on) grandkids might have to fret over it.
3Whew, I thought it was just a billion years - that is cool then.
4I'm looking forward to being a dust speck in the cosmos and hoping I'll be able to watch all the fireworks.
Gotta read the whole story!
And amen to watching the fireworks.
5Well we only have 5 billion years till the Sun goes out anyway, so it's fun to imagine what might get us before then. I for one wish I could exist outside of time to see this happen.
6I love the idea of running through more than 2,000 scenarios - I imagine two guys, late at night, huge bags of cheetos and red bull going "oh oh oh, try this now..."
7Well if there's anything to evolution we'll probably look a bit different in 3.5Billion years. Less hair, bigger heads ect., very attractive LOL!
8"I imagine two guys, late at night, huge bags of cheetos and red bull going "oh oh oh, try this now..."
9If mankind has not moved our civilization beyond our own solar system in the next million years, we deserve what we get in 5 billion years.
10so there the lesson is make the most of what you have right now.
11time is running fast and you cannot afford to take a pause or do what you could have done, everyday is a new day and new hope!
That's a great way to make sure no one can refute your claim...all you have to do is say "Well, we'll just have to wait and see..."
12everytime i hear "planets collide" i see the intro to third rock from the sun.
